He’s a Public Service Hero.
A snowplow driver from the Midwest saw a burning car on the side of the road while running his route. Understanding immediate reaction was needed (but also wanting to follow protocol) the driver radioed his supervisor for approval before jumping into action.
After getting the “okay” back from headquarters, George, the driver precisely moved snow toward the engine.
Nicknamed “Fire Fighter George” this Snow Fighter “pushed the snow right into the engine department” and in less than five minutes the fire was snuffed out. In the meantime, the snow fighter’s radio operator contacted the firefighters to check on the situation.
Talk about team work. The action was caught and released to the public by LiveLeak. Three cheers for George who saw a need decided to help in an extraordinary way.
